Better late than never.

I forgot all about blogging the latest news for our house. Ryan finally, after six looooonng weeks, received a mission call. We know that this mission is special for him because of the way it all worked out. But anway, he is going to the Colorado Denver South Mission. He goes into the MTC on March 18. This is coming fast for me. I am not so sure how to handle being an empty nester. I have had children in my home for over 30 years. How do you all of a sudden find yourself back to the beginning. Just me and the guy I adore and fell in love with all those years ago. When we were married all I wanted was to be with him and him alone. Why all of a sudden, does that scare me? We have been a team in raising kids. It has been the greatest achievement of our lives. Five awesome kids that have brought us more happiness than ever imagined. Now we need to focus back on us, I guess. I know it is going to be okay and I know that it will have it's own special place in my life. I am heading for it with anticipation and with determination. When I think about it, it could be just as exciting as back in 1973 when I married my best friend and was alone with him all the time. A dream come true!!
