UPDATE

I thought I would update you since I am not sure if Luke contributes to the blog or not. Anyhow Lukie has been quite sick and wheezy. On Sunday he was unable to breathe very well so they took him to the hospital in Panguitch. They sent him home with a nebulizer. It didn't seem to be working so last night they brought him over again. They did some x-rays and ruled out pneumonia. They think it is croup. He was so cute with his scratchy little voice. When he came out of x-ray they had given him a Tiger sticker and he was very proud of that sticker and excited to not have to be in the machine anymore. The doctor gave him a prescription so hopefully he will be feeling better soon.
I guess for the first year in the history of my life I will not see any of my family on Thanksgiving, but at least we have Christmas. I hope everyone has a nice Holiday. I am jealous of all of you that get to go home. Talk to you soon.

Football is over.

Wow. I don't know where to even begin with our disastrous weekend in Carlin. It just wasn't meant to be and we lost by 2 points. The winning touchdown for Carlin was made in the last 30 seconds. Quite a heartbreaker. We really thought we had it but unfortunately there were a couple of dropped balls which were recovered by Carlin. I didn't like losing that way. I think it is so unfair to not have played this game on a neutral field. Our boys were traveling and stayed overnight at a motel. The weather wasn't as good there as it would have been closer to the south. The referees were northern refs. We had 15 penalties to Carlin's 2. Oh well, it is over and best forgotten. Ryan will start practicing basketball right away and on to another season we go. I will mail some schedules to you all so that, if you are interested, you can see if you can make any of the games.

Report on Ryan's game.

Well, I forgot the picture to post on here, but I will try to do that if we get to state because I will surely have some then.
Our first playoff game was Friday, Nov. 2. We won very easily. This coming week is the second playoff game and the winner will go to State. We play Carlin. They flipped a coin to see who would host the game. Of course, we lost. So we are headed to Carlin. Bummer.
Tonopah plays Coalville. If Tonopah wins there is a good chance that State will not be in Reno, but in Las Vegas, so everyone root for Tonopah this weekend and hopefully we will be able to be down here. My checkbook really needs for it to be down here.

This is My test Picture.

Rowdy I haven't really posted a picture before so I had to try it to see if I could do it so that I could tell you how. When you go to create a post there is a tool bar at the top. There is a icon of a picture and one of a video. You can click on those and do a picture or a video. The picture should be one you have scanned on to your computer in order to retrieve it. I don't know anything about the video. When you choose the picture you want make sure you click the little box saying you've read the terms of whatever. Then choose your layout and post it with whatever you want to say.

I think I finally figured out how to do this?!

I have been trying for a week to get this dang thing to recognize my account and it would appear that finally today it is going to let me on. We will see if this works next time I want to try adding a post.
So as I think everyone knows the baby is a boy. We hope so cause if it is a girl she is going to be dressing like a boy for the first few months of her life. Anyhow I wanted to see what you thought of our name choices. Dustin is dead set on Dalley J. Westwood. I am quite fond of Coulter J. Westwood. Two names that we both kind of like are Roper J. Westwood and Wiley Dustin Westwood. No initials though, if we name him Dalley J he will not be called DJ or if we choose Coulter J he will not be CJ. So what do you think?
If it is a girl it will either be Laney Jane or Adaven Lyn but we are pretty much planning on it being a boy. If it turned out a girl then the name thing would be easier since we both agree 100% on our girls names. Anyhow those are our choices.

Update on Ryan

We had a short scare. The coaches wanted us to take Ryan to the doctor. He was feeling a lot better and went to school, but still wasn't up to par. The doctor decided he needed to test for Mono. I really didn't think that it was, but he said there was a remote possibility and wanted to rule it out. He called this morning and said that it is not Mono. Ryan is feeling great today. The doctor said he was dehydrated, so he has been working on getting his fluids. Anyway I guess he will be playing the game today.
I am going to try and post a picture of him in his uniform on Monday and let you know about the game. See ya then.

Ryan is sick today and has been ever since Sunday. We are hoping that he is well enough to play by Friday. Oh, yes, I forgot to tell all of you, the game has been moved to Friday. It seems that some people like their Saturday's free. Go figure. Anyway, sorry, that means that anyone who thought they could come for the Saturday game will probably not be able to make it.

Thanks Mom For inviting us on. I think this is a great idea. I will participate as often as possible. How was you birthday. I called and left a message, but you were gone. We all love you and hope that you had a wonderful birthday.
